journal recommendations

I’ve always been one to collect plenty of journals. Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a huge appreciation for everything that would fall under the category of “office supplies.” I had collections of notebooks, pens, pencils, paper, and an endless supply of markers and other art tools. My collection has been progressing over the course of my life. I’d love to share some of my favorites with you!

As an Amazon Affiliate, any product that’s linked on my site earns commission at no cost to you. This helps me keep this platform up and running. There’s no increase in cost to purchase – it simply just allows me to make a small portion to help fund Faith and Ink.

Thank you in advance for helping support this small ministry!

notebook

Traveler’s Notebook – this notebook has been one of my go-to journals for several years. It’s refillable, which makes it easy (and more cost effective) to keep writing. My favorite part about this notebook is that the leather cover wears naturally as you use it. It’s been so awesome to see how it adapts to my frequent use of it over time. I even recently bought my husband one, too! They come in different shapes and colors. I have one similar to this, and I like using these refills to keep my writing going. I recently bought my husband this smaller, passport-sized version which he has been using to take notes in.

writing utensil

TWSBI Eco Fountain Pen – this has been one of my favorite pens to write with. I love that you can see the mechanism through the clear casing. It’s comfortable to hold, and since you can see the ink through the pen, the body of the pen showcases the ink that you fill it up with! It’s neat to have it “match” the color of the ink. This pen writes like butter and is a very inexpensive addition to any collection. Mine is currently filled with this Noodler’s 54th Massachusetts Ink, which is a gorgeous dark blue color.

appreciating His goodness in the mundane

the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies;

you anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life,

and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Psalm 23
